Workflow Manager Window
This automated workflow manager generates output PDF files automatically without requiring user intervention. It uses an associated layout file along with assigned settings. The workflow manager employs a user-friendly method—simply drag and drop files into an assigned hot folder to initiate the workflow process. The resulting output files will be placed in their respective output folders.
Start Workflow Manager :
Starts the workflow manager with all items in the queue.
Stop Workflow Manager :
Stops the workflow manager with all items in the queue.
New Button :
Creates a new workflow queue item. Check the ‘Workflow Queue Item Setup’ section for more info.
Remove Button :
Removes selected workflow queue item.
Edit Button :
Edit selected workflow queue item. Check the ‘Workflow Queue Item Setup’ section for more info.
Setup Button :
Setup workflow preferences. Check the ‘Workflow Preferences’ section for more info.
Workflow Queue List : Lists all queue layouts. You may enable or disable queue items using the check box. Some contextual menu options are available in this list. Right-click the list box to access these menu options. All available options are listed below.
Open Layout File : Open the layout file associated with the selected workflow queue.
Show Layout File : Show the layout file linked to the selected workflow queue.
Show Input Hot Folder : Show the input hot folder for the selected workflow queue.
Show Output Folder : Show the output folder for the selected workflow queue.
Show Archive Folder : Show the archive folder for the selected workflow queue.
Replace Layout File : Replace the layout file linked to the selected workflow queue.
Repair Queue Folders : Fix any issues with folders related to the selected workflow queues.
Remove All Disabled Workflow Queues : Remove all disabled workflow queues from the list.
Remove All Workflow Queues : Remove all workflow queues from the list.
Refresh : Reloads all workflow queues.
Workflow Notification Area : Shows current queue status in regular intervals.
Workflow Queue Folders : Displays all working folders and their contents related to the selected workflow queue. Double-click the folder name to reveal that specific folder on the disk.
Input Folder Button :
Lists all PDF files in the ‘Input Hot Folder’.
Output Folder Button :
Lists all PDF files in the ‘Output Folder’.
Errors Folder Button :
Lists all PDF files in the ‘Errors Folder’.
Archive Folder Button :
Lists all PDF files in the ‘Archive Folder’.
Note: Workflow manager may not check the page sizes of the PDF files. Make sure all PDF files you dropped in the input folder have the same specification as the original PDF link file used in the layout file.
