Quick Action Menu Buttons

These are the small buttons with menu located on the right side of the Layout Editor .

Control Shortcuts ▸

Change Page Number : Guide you to change symbolic page numbers using Master Page Properties.

Crop & Other Printers Marks : Guide you to setup printers’s mark using Layout Preferences .

PDF Page Size & Scale : Guide you to edit page box size and scale using Signature Settings .

Quick Actions ▸

Add PDF Link File.. : Quickly add a PDF file as source file.

Change Front to Back : Quickly change layout signature sides.

Swap Paper Turning Style Silently : Quickly change layout paper turning style.

Set Page Size From Linked PDF File : Quickly set page box size from the first linked PDF file.

Apply Auto PDF Output Size With Slug Area : Quickly change output size to crop area + slug area.

Apply Auto PDF Output Size To Trim Area : Quickly change output size to crop area only.

Apply Output To Printing Paper Size : Quickly change output size to current paper size.

Apply Printer's Marks : Quickly add necessary printer’s marks.

Remove All Printer's Marks : Quickly remove all printer’s marks.

Update Page Preview : Quickly update preview of the selected page.

Units : Quickly change unit of measurements.

View : Quickly change layout preview size.

Single Page Size ▸

Select Single Page Size : Allow you to select page box size quickly from the listed common page sizes.

Select Paper Size ▸

Select Printing Paper Size : Allow you to select printing paper size quickly from the listed common paper sizes.

Select Paper Size ▸

Color Swatches Library : Enables you to create, remove, and manage color swatches using a centralized library.

Layout Preferences ▸

Apply Layout Preferences Preset : Allow you to apply layout preference presets quickly from the listed available preference presets.

Creep ▸

Creep Settings : Allow you to setup creep settings quickly using Creep Setup .

OMR / Barcode ▸

OMR / Barcode Settings : Allow you to setup OMR marks & barcodes quickly using OMR & Barcode Settings .

Printer’s Marks ▸

Crop & Other Printers Marks : Guide you to setup printers’s mark using Layout Preferences .

Color Bars ▸

Color Control Bar : Allows you to setup color bars using Layout Preferences .

PDF Link Transformations ▸

Link transformations : Allows you to transform selected page using PDF Link Transformations .

Gang Run ▸

Gang Run Transformations : Allows you to do gang run transformations for the selected page using Gang Run Transformations.

PreFlight Check ▸

Do PreFlight Check : Checking layout for normal errors like size mismatch, link missing etc. and displays the errors if found.

Some error found.

Some size based error (paper, boarder etc.) found. You may ignore if you think not serious.

Transparency related error found. ( Transparency Error )

Checked OK but you changed some settings later. Need to check again.

Optimizer ▸

PDF Optimizer Settings : View and edit active optimizer settings using Optimizer Settings

Reports ▸

Preflight Reports : View and edit image and color preflight reports using Preflight Reports Window

Info & Guides ▸

Enabled Guides : Quickly disable guides & details for layout preview.

Disabled Guides : Quickly enable guides & details for layout preview.

Transparent Preview Mode ▸

Shows the overall transparent view for the PDF layout. Useful for checking the image & vector elements in a PDF. Or checking whether the texts on the PDF are converted to image.

Output PDF Preview ▸

Enable or disable ‘Output PDF Preview’ mode which shows the layout preview exactly as on the output PDF.

Faster : Shows the output PDF preview in regular quality.

High Quality : Shows the output PDF preview in higher quality.

Tutorial Videos ▸

How To Do Tutorial Videos : Shows tutorial videos from the internet.
